Hexagon was a fun collaboration with my good friend Lauren Frazier. Our goal with this project was to re-skin the Spotify app for iPhone, and to add a functionality to it that would allow friend groups to have interactive musical experience. In addition to the standard playlist feature that ships with the Spotify app, we developed a “Playrooms” concept where each member creates a song queue from which songs are chosen in a round-robin manner until all playlists are exhausted. Up to six people can occupy a room, giving way to our working title for this app, “Hexagon”.
